Acta Politica is the official journal of the Dutch Political Science Association.
The prime objective of Acta Politica is to publish outstanding work reflecting research and developments of both a theoretical and empirical nature in all sub-areas of the discipline, including Dutch and comparative politics, international relations, political theory, public administration, and political communication.

News
In January 2008, Kees van Kersbergen succeeds Hans Keman as Co-Editor of Acta Politica. Professor van Kersbergen is professor of Political Science at Free University, Amsterdam. He studied Political Science at the University of Amsterdam and Social and Political Sciences at the European University Institute (Florence, Italy), where he obtained his PhD (cum laude) in 1991. He was previously Associate Professor of Political Science at Free University, Amsterdam and Professor of Political Science at Nijmegen University.
We would like to welcome Kees and extend our thanks to Hans Keman for all his hard work on the journal, culminating in its acceptance into the SSCI. Marc Hooghe continues as Co-Editor of Acta Politica.
