(a) With respect to gender, the gap in number of credits earned closes altogether after the first academic year, and increases slightly after Year 2. For ethnicity, the gap closes considerably after Year 1 and even more after Year 2. (b) With respect to gender, the gap in retention rate closes altogether after the first academic year, and opens slightly after Year 2. For ethnicity, the gap closes considerably after Year 1, and remains stable in Year 2.
