Distribution of VALUE. The figure shows that the PatVal-EU patent VALUE distribution is skewed. Since the difference in the logs of the boundaries of the intervals is roughly constant, the distribution in the figure is an approximation of a log-normal. Even the log-normal distribution looks skewed.
