Armagh and Feminist Strategy: Campaigns around Republican Women Prisoners in Armagh Jail

Christina Loughran was born and has lived all her life in Belfast. Since completing her BA in Modern History and Politics in 1982, she has been doing research for a PhD in Sociology on the women's movement in NI, at Queen's University, Belfast. She is a founder member of the Women's News Collective.

I wish to thank Margaret Ward, the Feminist Review collective, and John, for their time and criticisms (which I did not always heed).
