Under Western Eyes: Feminist Scholarship and Colonial Discourses
Chandra Mohanty is assistant professor of women's studies and the sociology of education at Oberlin College, Ohio where she teaches courses on feminist theory, race and education and development studies. Her current projects include a book on feminist theory and 'Third World' feminisms, and a study of colonial education in India.
