Feminism, Citizenship and National Identity

Ann Curthoys is Professor of Social History at the University of Technology, Sydney, New South Wales, Australia. She has been active in the Australian women's movement since 1970, and has published in a wide range of fields including feminist theory, women's history, media history and the history of Aboriginal-European relations, anti-immigration movements, and the anti-war movement of the 1960s. Her book, For and Against Feminism: A Personal Journey into Feminist Theory and History, was published by Allen & Unwin in 1988.
