Family Feuds: Gender, Nationalism and the Family

Anne McClintock is an associate professor at Columbia University, where she teaches gender and cultural studies. She is currently researching nationalism and gender in South Africa on an SSRC-MacArthur International Peace and Security Fellowship. Her book Maids, Maps and Mines: Gender and Imperialism is coming out in 1993.
