"The Geneva Association"
The Geneva Association is a unique world organisation composed exclusively of 80 Chief Executive Officers of the most important insurance companies in Europe, North America, South America, Asia, Africa and Australia. Its main goal is to research the growing economic importance of world-wide insurance activities in the major sectors of the economy.
Founded in 1973 under the initiative of a committee, the Geneva Association (International Association for the Study of Insurance Economics) has the following major aim:
To study and analyse the problems relating to insurance economics on the international level by means of:
- research
- the organisation of international colloquia on topics of great interest for the development of insurance, and
- publications.
