1is a consultant at Russell Reynolds Associates where he focuses on serving clients in the healthcare industry. He specialises in mainly international assignments for senior positions from scientific to commercial roles and from operational positions to corporate staff and supervisory board members. Clients range from global, top-tier pharmaceutical and biotechnology companies to life science startups, including medical devices, research instrumentation and major suppliers to the life science industry. Prior to joining Russell Reynolds Associates, he worked in the pharmaceutical and consumer healthcare industry. With Royal Numico N.V., he held various positions, including Director of Corporate Marketing. Before that, he spent eight years at Procter & Gamble Pharmaceuticals in the Benelux countries and the US where he served as Marketing Director and, prior to that, as Worldwide Brand Manager. He received his MSc in medical biology and his MD from the State University Utrecht, the Netherlands.
