a Figures for the two companies can be misleading since they are 'red chip' companies: mainland-originating companies incorporated and listed in Hong Kong with controlling Chinese shareholders. Most of their operations are located in the mainland though they are headquartered in Hong Kong.
b CSXWT was headquartered in the US although most of its business is generated in the Far East and South America until in December 2004 it was acquired by UAE's DPW and underwent a change in ownership.
