Palgrave Macmillan Journals website redesign

If you have not accessed www.palgrave-journals.com over the summer, now is the time to return for a new look and a whole new experience. In time for the Autumn Term, our website has undergone an extensive re-design process.

At the core of the redesigned site is the new online content-production system. This system, fully tried and tested over the last 12 months by the academic journals of Nature Publishing Group, has several aims, according to Val Langrish, Web Production Manager, Nature Web Services. "In addition to creating a quick search facility and improved article navigation, we also invested in re-indexing all of the holdings in our archives. Furthermore, going forward, we will be publishing all articles for every title in both PDF and XHTML format. All this added functionality means our readers, authors and librarians have faster, more consistent and more comprehensive access to our content."

The new www.palgrave-journals.com also includes more prominent society branding for Palgrave Macmillan's society clients. "Our society clients are at the core of our business and we are always creating innovative ways for them to build their profile and their membership", says David Bull, Director, Journals Publishing, Palgrave Macmillan. David continues, "This is particularly true when, as at present, we are actively building our list through the addition of new society partners."

The redesigned site also hosts all the new publications acquired in 2005. Visit www.palgrave-journals.com for further information.
