Personal subscribers and customers signed up for TOC e-alerts: login change

When you LOGIN your registered e-mail address has replaced your username

We have been upgrading our internet publishing platform, to provide a faster, more effective service to our users. In addition we have redesigned our Personal account pages so you can manage your account more easily. As part of this process, we have replaced your username with your registered e-mail address. From Thursday, 27 October 2005, you will need your e-mail address and the password associated with that registered account to log on, but not your old username. Remember too that login details are case sensitive, including your e-mail address.

Auto-login

If you are one of the many users who have saved their passwords to enable auto-login, you will need to log in (with your e-mail address) and current password and 'save password' again (this will reset the cookie). Auto-login means you do not have to enter your password and e-mail address each time you visit the site. Providing you do not share your computer we recommend activating auto login.

Personal accounts

We encourage you to update your personal details via Personal Login. This allows us to tailor content to your interests (see our privacy policy for more information). You can also opt-in or out of e-alerts, and associate your subscriptions with your account to gain online access.

Multiple accounts

We strongly advise you do not maintain multiple accounts, as this can create confusion regarding your e-mail preferences. Where we have been able to identify multiple accounts held by the same individual (with the same e-mail address), we have merged them into a single account. If you are aware that you have multiple accounts with different e-mail addresses, you can contact Palgrave Customer Support to have old accounts deleted.

We have deleted registrations with invalid e-mail addresses. If you know of friends or colleagues who have not received this e-mail but have previously held accounts on Palgrave Macmillan and wish to receive services from Palgrave Macmillan, they should register again.
