Abstract
This is a brief response from a psycho-socially inclined sociologist to R.D. Hinshelwood's psychoanalytic exploration of racism. In particular, the argument that is developed focuses on the problems of postulating two separate spheres – the psycho and the social – and tries to suggest that we find a way not to separate those spheres either analytically or experientially.
Keywords:
racism, psycho-social, prejudices
