Dr Shebalov also actively collaborates with the academic community through joint projects, conferences participation and journal publications. Dr Shebalov came to Sabre from United Airlines where he worked in the Enterprise Optimization Group. Dr Shebalov holds an MS degree in Applied Mathematics from the State Marine Technical University of Saint Petersburg, Russia and a PhD in Mathematics from University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.

Abstract
Demand-driven dispatch is a well-known example of a successful integration of revenue management and scheduling practices. We provide an overview of this process of dynamic capacity reallocation based on information available in revenue management systems. The reasons for revenue performance improvements are provided and existing practical approaches as well as possible ways of improvement and future development are described.
