Special Issue: Women’s Security: Critical perspectives on assessment techniques and preventive responses
Guest Editors: Martha J. Smith and Bonnie S. Fisher

This issue is the second of two special issues of Security Journal expressly dealing with a range of concerns related to women’s security. These papers present a wealth of information regarding women’s security issues in different settings and cultures. Some of the papers focus on the assessment techniques used to examine women’s security in particular areas or situations. Other papers look at the preventive responses and security approaches that might effectively be used to address women’s safety and security concerns.

For a limited time you can read the Special Issue Introduction by Martha J. Smith and Bonnie S. Fisher, plus the article The Effectiveness of Women’s Safety Audits by Carolyn Whitzman et al.
