Research agenda for innovation in sustainable tourism

1is the STCRC Senior Research Fellow in Urban Tourism in the School of Leisure, Sport and Tourism at the University of Technology, Sydney. Deborah's interests are in sustainable tourism management, urban attractions, tourism planning, community volunteers in tourism attractions and the social impacts of events. Deborah is on the steering committee of the Business Enterprises for Sustainable Travel Education Network (BEST EN).

2is an Associate Professor at the Royal Institute of Technology, Stockholm, Sweden. He is head of the Division of Sustainable Building Systems and head of the Research Group on Sustainable Tourism Development. He holds visiting professor appointments at the School of Architecture, South-East University, Nanjing, PR China and the School of Art & Design, Shandong University, Jinan, PR China. His principal research interests are in resource efficiency and management in the built environment, with a focus on energy-efficiency and low-impact building design, and sustainable tourism development with a focus on facilities and resource management.

3is a Senior Lecturer in Management at the University of Surrey. His research interests are around sustainability and ethics in tourism.
